and ducks!

I have so many plans for our next (larger) property, it's not even funny. DH thinks I am nuts and that I have too many plans. No more time for a "real adult" job. But the way I look at it: if I can do enough planting, growing and livestock things I'd safe us more money in groceries then I might make going to work.

Some better bunny pics.

Busy day today, my parent's came over to finally take a look at Hilma, and they managed to catch Hilma feeding the kits. Then we did a 2 hour walk with the dogs in the forest, then a quick trip to the supermarket to figure out something to hang the grow lights from. At home, we repotted the 'maters, and then we grilled some ribs, and had them with a lovely warm potato salad.

The 'maters weren't looking all that hot, they had been pretty crowded, both by each other, and their pots. They were completely root bound. We were also out of commercial soil, so they went into homemade compost. We'll see if they survive. If they do, they're going to do pretty well. They're a bit over 4 weeks now, and over a quarter inch thick, and about 6-7 inches tall.

I'll go check it out @Outpost JWB.

I ordered red tuxedo coturnix quail eggs. Josh is thrilled. He about died when I asked of he would eat quail if we raised them up. Already have someone else who wants them too. Thinking about ordering some other eggs from someone else too. I couldn't find only red tuxedo from anywhere but strombergs. Hopefully they do good.
