yes, crazy Tempe. We named her Tempe for a reason. I'll live through it. I really want to break her to drive but half of me doesn't know how she is going to take it. Maybe this spring we will work hard on that.Is this your Tempe/Tempest? It does sound like she went through some bad things... maybe she was beat being put up in a stall/barn? And she knows she is trapped and that's when it triggers? Just guessing here... sorry she clobbered you...
it's possible. She always has been nutty and she does have some off quirks. She shows like nothing else and never places below third, and anything below second is rare. She shows how hot she is at shows too but she is predictable there. It seems these odd explosions happen at home.Mini... Maybe your horse is the same way.... (Actually, you said mini... Whatever)
Maybe you are supposed to take the halter off of the ears first, or left ear then right ear, etc. who knows what that horse has in its head. But when you do the "wrong" sequence, an explosion happens.
Just a guess.
I used to have a few horses, and one was hot.... But in a very predictable way, no surprises.
@vehve, loves the kits. Maybe hold mama down and force her to let the little one nurse so you don't have to bottle feed that one? Might save you from haVing to off it.
