Thank youNot BBRed OEGB. Too light and too much variation in color for them. But definitely a OEGB silkie cross.

Well the seller told me she was a she i really hope he didnt lie to me as i wanted to have 2 chicks! Im not sure but i was told she was aprox. 10 weeksI think she is really a he. Those neck feathers and that tail and how it's holding its wings........ Also the large feet..... How old is your new bird?
Thank you <3 i did notice shes a little different yet so beautifulYes, she does have five toes. Good eye! What a strange, but uniquely pretty bird.
I doubt the seller "lied". Sexing is not always 100%. Even seasoned poultry keepers miss here or there. I hope that I'm wrong. But usually when they feather out thick in the neck with a seat like that it screams cockerel. Not always. Just preparing you for the possibility. Fingers crossed for you that she is a she!Well the seller told me she was a she i really hope he didnt lie to me as i wanted to have 2 chicks! Im not sure but i was told she was aprox. 10 weeks

That is absolutely a pullet, due to having a female only color pattern, among other things. The color is a modified black breasted red, and males and females of that pattern have very different coloring. Yours is definitely female.Hello! Im new hereso i got a new chicken yesterday and shes a smaller breed but she acts like an eagle ITS WEIRD, heres a pic of her.. Idk if she has traits of a specific breed! And she also has huge paws

She is a Silkie cross. The other parent could be OEG bantam or something else with similar coloring.
The 5th toes in breeds or crosses with 5 toes isn't really used for anything. It's not used for walking, running, or gripping perches when roosting, because it curves upward and isn't mobile.
She's a lovely bird!
