Does greenish tinged coelom fluid mean infection?

Thanks everyone. Lucky wasn’t doing so great this morning. Her tail was down and she either didn’t want to or couldn’t get down from the roost. I brought her inside for a few minutes and offered baby bird formula. It was a no go. I had some brown rice and quinoa with garlic packs from costco and offered some. She ate what she wanted and I brought her back outside. She seems weaker and her abdomen is quite bloated. I will not be intervening anymore. I think her time has come. I’d rather not take her away from home for euthanasia, so I’ll either let her go on her own or find a mobile vet to euthanize her at home. I’ll keep you posted.

So sorry to hear - I have a soft spot for your Lucky so will be sad to see her go.
What I do know is that she has had a wonderful chicken-life with you and you should feel completely at peace that you have done right by her every step of the way.
:hugs

Lucky was a little better than I expected after work. I took a couple hours off to make sure the chickens had a little bit of time to run around since it’s gonna be raining all weekend. Lucky actually came out and joined everyone. She did a lot of standing around, but she also did a little bit of foraging. I’ll post at least one video later on.
