Dog harnesses on a duck?

I've seen many duck owners using a dog harness to 'walk' their duck. Is this safe? I don't see how it possibly could be, but I don't know enough to make that decision. My main concern would be their lungs and neck. But again, I wouldn't know. My duck prefers to walk about by herself, without any of my help.

Does anyone have facts and/or opinions to share on the matter?

my goose follows me around and i take her for walks to a pond down he street for her to swim. unless the duck is imprinted on you and or follows you around then its probably not safe to walk her with out a harness. i dont know that a dog harness would work because its made for four footed animals not 2 footed animals.
here is a good place that sell special duck harnesses (i have one coming from them for my goose)
