Dog Injured Chicken

:hugs:hugs

I'm sorry, it sounds like the crop is torn - she is not going to be able to survive unless it can be repaired. Is the water that she is drinking going anywhere or is it flushing out as well? She will get dehydrated quickly.

Dark red/black skin is most likely due to the skin drying out and/or dying.

Until you decide your course of action may I suggest covering the open crop/wound area with a bandage moistened with saline. Preferably sterile gauze but some kind of clean soft fabric such as a torn piece of shirt would do in a pinch to minimize the tissue drying out.
You can then secure it with vet wrap if you have it or a long sling/strip of tshirt.
In fact if you have any old clean men's socks in a drawer , if it's stretch-y enough you could cut off the toe part and slip it over her like a tube to hold it in place.
*may need to cut off the ankle part as well and just use the "foot".
