We got her a buddy last spring. Hawk the Lab-o-Monster (think Lab with Coonhound mix)

Retriever of course, but likes to chew whatever he's bringing in. We got him probably because he failed at being a good duck dog. He has had some training for it and came to us fairly well trained (which is a good thing for a grown Lab mix!!!!)

Both are dedicated swimmers

im surprised your antolians tolerate other dogs. how are they with strangers?

My Anatolians do just fine around the other dogs, they are probably top of the pecking order amongst the dogs but my Boerboel is no pushover. They also do fine with my parents dog who comes over to visit for over night stays on the weekends. My brother also regularly stops over with his dog and no problems. They do not let the many feral dogs in the are get any where close to the property but on a lead of the farm, (vet visits, or hikes in the park) they have an opinion but will defer to my command. I work as a Vet-tech and do dog training and behavior modification for a living, so they are well matched. If the strangers are people they guard the same as if it is a strange predator. Once I give the all clear they are fine, actually my Boerboel is the one that will shadow strangers around keeping a close eye on them. We have friends with kids from rug rats to preteen and have never had an issue (obviously always under close supervision). They will even act as a physical barrier if the child strays to close to some of the live stock. They certainly are not for every one and I have two great examples of the breed. I love my Anatolians and was sad once AKC chose to add them to their registry. I would much rather have them stay little known working breed instead of a popular show dog.

Here is my Min Pin "Killer" He is 11 years old...

and this is "NINJA".. we just got him last night. A lady gave him to us because her life was so busy and she didnt have time to take care of him.... he is SUCH a good boy!!! He fit right in and he and Killer are best friends. Oh....btw... he is a Toy Poodle. I need to have him groomed. Overlook his eyes.... the flash on my camera make them look that way. He is 7 months old

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Oscar, Gracie, and Simian. Oscar is likely an Am Staff/ Am bulldog, basically a pit bull mix. And Gracie is also a pit bull mix. They are both shelter dogs.

I was raised by a Cocker named Chrissie who was a lot like your Lesiel, all the way down to the Supermom tendencies. Glad to see it's still around.

Let's see, something to post... well, here's what a collie looks like after a cat decides to groom him and ends up pulling out some loose fur:
