Dog thread!🐾

Well we were camping there was a ton of dogs that showed up on Friday. I was lucky to meet a few of them! There were Golden Retrievers, labs, bully breeds.
Then the dogs that really caught my eye a almost all white saint benard and he had to weigh atleast 200lbs he was huge(i didnt to meet him as the owners werent outside at the time.)
Then there was a dog that looked kinda like a Akita but with super long fur i cant think of the name of the breed.
And finally a Great Dane that weighed over 185lbs and kinda looked like this

Ahh okay that makes sense. That sounds like probably more work than Jaws would want to do though no?
For a 1st dog, yes. But I like how they look, and the (albeit limited amount) information on the AKC site make them seem like they might be good after I have some experience if I end up with a set up good for them.

Honestly I have a good amount of hairless breeds on the list, but I'll probably only actually own one total.

I have a few sheep dogs too, eventually I want to get sheep and goats, and would prefer (if it works out) to have a dog or 2-3 that stay with the animals to keep them a bit safer. Obviously they would need special training that the others wouldn't need
I would only trust a LGD breed on its own with livestock even with training

please don’t get a giant schnauzer to live out in a field like the one homesteading people on YouTube did 😆 which I have brought up only because it still annoys me!
