Double Yolk Egg Fertilzed

Are they 21 days at this point? If so, if you go slow - you should be able to assist them out.

You can use a heating pad, a towel you've heated in the microwave/dryer or one of those heat pack things they make for necks/backs for a warm place to work on.

The biggest challenge is safely finding the beak of the chick in the small end.

You're looking first to get them just AIR and then slowly help them out.

It finally warmed up enough to get the egg out of the bator. I'm so sorry folks. I am just shaking here. This has upset me so much. One chick appears to have quit around day 18 or 19, the other looks like it quit last night or this mornig. It was fully developed.

This is soooo upsetting. I will not set a double yolk again in my bator.

I do still have 3 eggs in the bator. One should have hatched yesterday but did not.

The other 2 are due to hatch out saturday and they are rocking today.

I have a double yolker in mine now due to hatch around the 17th. I can see 2 barely. It is a brown eggs but there are definatley 2 in there and there is development. I'll let you all know if they live.
