If they seem okay I’d leave it be. But if you’re going to be gone for a while, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to make a small safety hole

I’m not too keen on ducks. I have no idea, but if they work like chickens do, yes. It’ll rest for a while and then should zip & hatch
