Dreams of hatching... and THEY ARE!!!! page 7 pic heavy

Congrats on your new babies! Reading your posts has taken me back to when I was waiting anxiously for my babies to arrive. It's insanely nerve wracking!!

Sending good thoughts to you and the little one who need extra help from his mommy to hatch. Come on little one!

DH said when Blue flew out of his egg it was all in one swift move, and reminded him of Mighty Mouse about to sing "Here I come to save the DAY!" Too funny!
Blue is very active and can't wait to be dry and OUTTA THERE! Made me very happy to see. But probably a roo LOL! Silk is still wiggling around and showing signs of life.

We have a green egg pipped, a brown blue orp pipped, a Hamburg and another silkie pipped. And there may be a coupl of others that aren't obvious yet....

Yup!

I was just asking the Hamburg to hurry up!
Haven't seen anything form the White Cochins, though. I know they were developing....

Awesome pics!!! So the naked neck "Buzzy" came from a green egg?? Are those the eggs from Dipsy?

There is still time w/ the White Cochins, b/c the others are early.

Come on chickies!!!!!

Yes, Buzzy was one of Dipsy's Blue/Black Ameraucanas. I was VERY surprised to see her emerge!
And so was the little chipmunk yellow chick. Youngest has named her Pikachu.

Yeah, I'm not giving up on anybody yet. But I figure by Saturday morning I'd better start cleaning up.

You know, hatching eggs do not smell real pretty...
Nobody ever mentions that part (not that I've read, anyway).

Gonna peak at 'em one more time, and then take a shower and try to relax. I've been up and down the stairs somuch today I feel like I've had a good workout. And after 4 hours of sleep I am BEAT!

Luckily, the cat is no longer messing around the babes. She was REAL good with our hamsters when we had them. Never ate anyone, and would lead us to 'em like Lassie when one got out. Both cats were good with the babies we had shipped in last year. Just real curious but no real intent to get at them. Pampered spoiled kitties....
