Duck eye infection?

Hi Everyone!
I have a partially blind 5 year, pekin duck with a really gross drippy eye, everything I see online doesn’t look as goopy as Marco’s eye. He’s eating, breathing normally, but is a bit lethargic. Here’s a pic of what it looks like. I’m planning on calling the vet Monday, but should I quarantine him in the mean time? I’m really worried about him. Thanks!

We took Marco to the doctor today. She Isn’t sure what caused it. We are concentrating on clearing up the infection first. He’s got 2 eyed drops and an antibiotic. She said she didn’t think I’d was necessary to quarantine him, but said if we can easily do it, then it wouldn’t hurt. He’s in their 4x8 house with a window, and I used a screen on the door so he can see his friends. Thanks for everybody’s help! Here he is hiding from the doctor! Showing his good side of course!

The eye is still in there, it’s very watery, his legt side is all stained from the goo. I washed it out with saline, I’ll get to TSC later tonight, it’s kinda a ride. Thanks for your help guys!

It's a liquid, with an oral syringe. He clamps up and won't open his mouth. Is there a way to get him to open up, and say ahhh?

Ok I know I'm probably not as experienced as everyone else but I had a egg bound girl over the past year that i had to give oral meds to (calcium gluconate) all the time. Eventually, she and "we" got used to it and it was a snap!

Wrap the duck in a towel so it's wings don't flap. I held it in my left arm all snug to my body. Then I took my left hand/arm and used my index and thumb to open her mouth. (this is all nice and tight against my body). I pried her mouth open with those 2 fingers and shot the medication into her mouth (the correct hole which I'm sure you know). I swear, 2 seconds once you get into a routine! Easy peasy Japaneasy!

it’s possible. I looked in their pen for anything that he could have hit it on, found nothing. I would think he could have done it on a stick, but do to the cold, and work, they’ve been locked in their run since Wednesday.
