It's raining and windy. I haven't seen my stray cat yet. I'm praying she gets into the setup I've made her with her food and warm place to rest.

Princess is locked up safe. I'm pleased she had a good 2 hours foraging earlier

This lady has decided that she is too busy to use a nest. She is dropping eggs all over the place.

I imagine this lady is too busy to ever go broody. She does lay in the nest as well on some days. There is no predicting her.

(To the soundtrack of BUK BUK BUK) Here is Fez!

Fez is broody. I’m pretty militant about breaking my girls asap, but Fez is in that broody-lite phase where she is still both laying eggs and getting out and about to eat/dust bathe. So i’ll leave her be for now.

Perry says “Hi Owly and Kelly’s cheeky baby! I don’t have baby pictures of myself- but I’ll bet I looked just like you guys!”

I was a bit worried about the newest kiddos yesterday, they were zonked out so much!

But today they seem fine, running around chirping eating drinking and carousing

She is a lady of whims in that case

I have one like that. Her name is Betty, she most days will lay in a nest box - but just to switch things up every few days she lays up on the straw stack, or the hay stack, or under the sheet covering the hay.

They are career girls I guess!

that’s wonderful she was able to get out, it’s been miserable here also. My gang are fed up with the rain I am sure.

I think your stray kitty is too smart to be out in bad weather - cats are pretty smart!
