This year, I am entering my ducks in as many shows as possible around where I am. Their first show will be this weekend, if there is still space.

I will be entering all my 9 mallards in. Also, the second show is at the beginning of April. Shows after the middle of the year, I will be showing my muscovies as they don’t molt till around half way through the year or something.

So what I have to do now is:
-Send entry forms
-Pen train/handle ducks
-Make sure they’re clean
-Check feathers

I will keep this updated throughout the year, and also update on show results and such.

Oooh shows would be fun
It will be. I do look forward to seeing other people’s birds, and what breeds they are. This first show I’m entering in, I haven’t even heard of till the other day. It has free entry unlike other shows, where it’s like $2 a bird.

I will be getting a pair of Stud Brown Chinese geese around March or something, and will be showing them.

Maybe when there and you have time you can shoot us some pics I’ve never seen Australian Calls or Elizabeths
I’ll definitely have too. I think I saw more calls at the show in Goulburn, and more Elizabeth’s in the show in Canberra. I don’t really remember anymore. But there definitely should be a fair range at The second show I’m going to in April, as I’m not sure about the show this weekend, as I’ve never been to it before.
