Our Pekin has had discolored wing feathers for a while now. We thought she was just molting, but they have looked beige like this for a few months now. It’s on both wings. She is eating and laying regularly. She has daily access to a pond. Everything seems normal except the large wing feathers.

She is not tame enough for us to catch her without significant distress. I plan on giving her a good examination, but asking here first for help before we go hands on with her.
Thanks!

It could just be genetic! If she seems otherwise healthy (eating well, good poops, etc), then I wouldn't be too worried. If you got her from a hatchery or even breeder, there are some cases where the coloring isn't 100% pure. Especially if her feathers grew in this way from chick-hood, then it's probably fine. You could try giving her some vitamin supplements to boost her immune system, but because you said she's had this coloration for a while and hasn't been any worse for the wear, I'd say she's fine.
