Ducky's story line thread

The calf wandered towards me. I crept closer, keeping my body close to the ground. I waited for the perfect opportunity.

I lunged forward grabbing the calls neck, not a sound escaped the calfs mouth. The herd never noticed as I dragged the suffocating calf away to avoid attack

After I had reached a safe distance, I started to eat my kill. I began with it's leg, I pulled off chunks of meat and swallowed them hastily.
I heard a twig snap behind me, I turnt around. And there, stood three wolves I had never seen before. They bared their teeth and growled loudly.

I had no choice but to submit. "You may have it, I do not want to fight." Luckily the three wolves were bachelor males, looking for mates. They were a lot sweeter than expected. They shared the kill with me instead of taking it from me.

I was relieved, it was nice to have friendly company for once.
One of the three wolves had dark black fur, the other two had grey fur. The black wolf was named Azil, he was confusing, but friendly. The other two grey wolves were named Leo and Elo, they were twins and they were very entertaining.
By the time the four wolves had eaten the calf, some of the snow had melted, turning the dirt around them into mud.

"Uh, I'm not a fan of mud." I chuckled lightly. Azil looked at me with golden eyes, they were hypnotizing but I managed to resist. I knew the males tricks, I knew them well. I would ignore them and move on to ensure I had shelter by the end of the day, but they followed.

I grew steadily annoyed. I wished that they would leave me be, however, that did not happen. The mud had started to cake around my legs, it made it difficult to walk. As the sun started to set, I knew I had to find shelter quickly, regardless of the following males.

The males would come too close to my side's and back end I would snap at then and growl, besides my efforts to be rid of them it didn't work. I slipped into an abandoned Fox den, after enlarging it of course. The males would try to come in with me but I would snap at them causing them to back, back out of the den. I watched them disappear from the sight of the entrance, but I knew they were still there from there growls and whines.

(Do not read this or bother)

I lay watching as the large males would fuss to fit but gave up and lay in the mud outside
