i do but they've mysteriously disappeared off my laptop so ill go take some new ones!

not the best quality pictures but there they are!
they are blue/red laced Wyandotte crossed with barred Plymouth rock hen. unfortunately none of them seem to have any red! the older batch was 7/8 eggs and are lively little babies
and the younger batch was 3/11 well behaved little babies much more so than their older siblings!

one of the older chicks is completely black head to toe with some grey in the middle of feathers

come to think of it one of the hens i got that was related to the father had similar colouring as a 4-6 week old but with small amounts of red right in the middle so some of them might come up with a few red/blue feathers (i hope so)

i have a theory that all the ones with bars are male because supposedly male barred rocks have two bar genes which is why they look different tp females
this is also supported by the fighting that seems to only occur between the barred chicks unless they bump a laced/grey chick by accident

what do you think of this theory?
