My Calico Princess started at 17 weeks and my Barred Rock started at 18 weeks. Not sure about my others, (SLWyandotte's, Buff Orpington and another Barred Rock) but everyone was laying by 26 weeks

WTG (2) started laying Dec 11 & 14 (Dec 9th 20wks), one laying a green egg & the other a brown egg. Still waiting on the WTB (2) who are the same ages, combs/wattles red but pelvic bone spread 1 finger

Most of mine started at 22 or 23, but my Leghorn started at 19.

What kind of birds are these? I'm a little new, but terrible at abbreviations

I voted. My ordinary chickens (Rhode Island Reds, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Sex-links...) average about 21-24 weeks, but my silkies started at 8 months with a bang. My Old English Game bantam still isn't laying and she is about 8 1/2 months.

It’s hard for me to vote because I have so many that started at different times but the majority of mine started between 18 and 21 weeks. I had a barred rock start at 17 weeks but I also have 2 bantams born in April 2019 that haven’t laid me a single egg yet. At least in my flock it’s anyone’s guess when they will start laying.
