Wal-mart sells a "grabber" for about 10 bucks.

I would at least break them now--might be easier to break them than retrieve them. They'll stink less and bugs & such will clean them out.

Of course, like the other poster said, and like you probably have thought about--build a barrier to prevent further laying there. Keep the hen in the coop with one or two eggs in the place you want her to lay for a few days so she knows where to lay.
