EMERGENCY: sick or injured duck please help!!

Thank you all so much you your help! I’m really hoping that she’ll continue to be ok and that maybe our drake just mated with her too much or something bc she seems to be ok now so I’m hopin this was just a weird fluke. But I’ll definitely get her the meds if things go downhill again and I’ll be keeping an eye on her

Calcium...Give her two crushed up Tums in a small dish of water to get that into her...

I don’t think we can afford the vet right now . We’d usually be able to but we’re going through some financial stuff right now. We ran out of their food for a few days and got more today but while we didn’t have the regular food we were givin them whole corn, oats, bok choy, and kale. All of the other ducks seem perfectly fine and the water is always clean.

Alot of people dont see the insanity of the Vet. Ive seen so many people go into debt to save an animal. I love animals and have had emergency trips to the vet. Ive also had to put my own pets down at home because they were so beyond helping and i had no money.

Most poultry live in mail box size shelves and are force fed. If they lived with you a week then died its still a better live than most.

And the the point is its more important for someone to have groceries and paid bills than a duck

She’s doing perfect this morning!! Eating, drinking, preening, swimming, and running around . I’ll still keep a close eye on her for a few days but I think she’s just fine. Also I found the biggest egg our ducks have ever laid this morning which leads me to believe that it might have gotten a little stuck and was maybe pressing on a nerve. Anyway I’m very happy she seems to be okay now and I’ll keep you guys posted if things change. I’m very very happy she’s okay though and my gf can’t wait to see the egg . The egg is the HUGE one that’s circled in the pic. There’s also a slightly smaller one than the big one that I found and I’m not sure if it could also be hers. Either way I’m glad she’s doing better.

PLEASE HELP: it’s happened again. I’m not sure if it was an egg again or if maybe she’s actually sick but I’m so scared bc she’s been perfectly fine up until abt 15 mins ago and I’m so so worried

She’s drinking and eating some mealies and I’m giving her a warm bath, but I’m still very worried. If it was an egg and is an egg this time I want to help her. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain whatsoever she just can’t walk although she’s eating and stealing and trying to bathe.

Can yo check he vent and see if liquid is present? Moisture if not from bathing can indicate an egg.
