Emus. They're the next plague of locusts decending upon us.

There is an emu/ostrich farm north of Tucson.

I wonder if ostrich has "oil" and what does it's meat taste like?

Ostrich is a lean, tender red meat with a light, delicate flavor similar to prime quality beef. Ostrich is extremely low in fat and cholesteral and the best cooking methods are sauteeing with vegetables or quickly grilling over hot coals to medium doneness (145-160 degrees on a meat thermometer)

The above is from the place that sells our Emu.

OK...we were cruising down a road in Oklahoma about 4 years ago. An emu cam running out of the scrub and attacked our truck. It looked hideous! I screamed, "What the f--k is that?!" It scared the crap outta me. Our friends were laughing cause I about crudded my pants. They are evil for sure.
