Thank you @TheChiggens for inviting me to the Buff thread! How fun is this? My BO's are my faves!!!!

Lucy is my avatar. She is 4, or will be in February. She is the oldest, and was at the top of the pecking order of my first flock. Now being the only one left from that flock, she is pretty quiet and reserved. However, she is the largest bird in the run, so no one will mess with her. She doesn't lay anymore, but she is still my favorite girl.

Pippi Longshot is my youngest BO. This little cockerel was a lone hatch in my incubator. I bought some hatching eggs for Surly, a BO that went broody, but about the time the eggs arrived, she had changed her mind. They took a week to get to me and I think the post office was too rough on them, so I only ended up with one viable egg in the end. This is Pippi at about 6 weeks. Yep. A cockerel for sure. I bought 3 lavender orpingtons to be brooding mates for him. They have treated him well.

I own 3 Buff Orpington's. They are pets and SO cute! I really love them! Names? Sure - their names are Creampuff, Marshy, and Kiwi.
