Hiya! I have a Lavender Orpington rooster, and just today added an Astralorpe (?) roo and so far, so good! My Orpington took the top spot, but zero feathers were lost!
I’m hoping for a great pairing so they can keep each other company.

Buff Orpingtons are my favorite breed. I lost my avatar one a few weeks ago but still have three other hens remaining. I fell in love with them as a youngster and once had an entire flock of all Buff Orpingtons which were great fun.

Sorry you lost your beautiful girl.

Those silkies sure are cuties. And funny! Unique, I guess is the right word. Unique cuties.

My gals are all pretty ordinary, Buff O's, a Black Australorp, and a GL Wyandotte. But they are hilarious! If we step outside the house near sundown they come running, and demand their evening treats. Those treats were to get them to come to the coop! Now they are already in the coop, but will hurry out because it's time for a treat!
