Exciting New Brinsea App Controlled Incubator - Testers Journey!

Interesting! This is probably the kinds of stuff that would be good to document and send to them as feedback!
I think Kathy meant she didn't realize at first it's a separate app from the Brinsea app, as she already had that. The Brinsea Connect app is apparently really new. I see it's only got one rating. That's not me, yet though. 😊

We're thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with our long-time sponsor Brinsea! They have graciously offered to provide a few of our wonderful members with their brand new Ovation 56 EX Connect app-controlled incubator to test and document their experiences.

Our selected BYC members will be taking us along for the ride as they explore and use this innovative new incubator. The helpful-hatchers embarking on this adventure are:
These experienced and enthusiastic members will be sharing every step of their journey with the new incubator in this thread. From the excitement of unboxing to the process of setup, and from the anticipation of egg turning to the joy of successful hatches - we'll get to experience it all alongside them.

We invite the entire BYC community to join this journey. Follow along as our testers navigate the features of this app-controlled incubator, sharing their triumphs, challenges, and everything in between. Feel free to ask questions, offer encouragement, and engage with the testers throughout their adventure.

A big thank you to Brinsea for providing this opportunity for our members to embark on this exciting journey. And thanks to our volunteer testers for agreeing to share their experiences with all of us!

The journey begins soon! We look forward to you joining us on this hatching adventure!
This is Amazing!

Brinsea makes the best incubators and adding an app-controlled version will help with making each hatch the best it can be!

I'm starting some pea, turkey, and call duck eggs in the RCOM today and will transfer some of them to the Brinsea after I get it set up (it's due Monday).

Now that's some true experimenting! Three different species being brooded at the same time; love it!

Did you find a solution for the egg tray situation regarding the peafowl eggs?

The peachicks & poults will be fine together, the calls will be in their own brooder.

I think they are shipping the large egg trays.
