Me third! I can't wait to see pics of little Ian! Good luck, I will be sending good thoughts your way! I don;t think I would want to know when he was coming, I would be a nervous Wreck! I would whine about being so excited I wouldn't sleep, but I don't sleep anymore anyway.

Congrats Momma!

I have my U.S. in the morning....I'm really excited but also very nervous...a lot of people have been commenting on how small my baby bump is and one broad (whom I dislike anyway) at work was telling me that "something must be wrong" because of how small I am, because I am not gaining any weight and because I've not felt the baby moving at all.

I am 19 weeks this week.

I was about 20lbs heavier than I wanted to be before I got pregnant and yes, I'm wearing larger shirts (but size small or medium maternity shirts) but I'm still wearing the same (low rise) pants I wore before I got pregnant. I think it's because I'm eating so much healthier than I was before I got pregnant (no pop, lattes or fast food) and I'm mostly eating organic--with a craving for salads & fruit. I weighed myself last night and I'm 141.6 so I have gained 4lbs.

Don't worry about anything being wrong with the baby until the doc says so. It happens some times where you don't get that big that fast. My bump was tiny until I hit 16 weeks and then I started really growing. A lot can be how you are carrying. It may just be that you are carrying more internally. That can get uncomfortable later on but it would mean your bump would be smaller. Heck, I've heard of women who didn't gain even 15 lbs during their whole pregnancy!!

Oh, don't let those morons worry you! Sometimes people just need to mind their own business! Look at that show "I didn't know I was pregnant", they never show at all, and never feel movements! And yes I can say I started feeling movement at 17 weeks, but I don't think I truly knew that was what it was for a few weeks, then it clicked, "Oh, that was what those little bubble feelings were!". Actually to me it felt like a teeny tiny pinch from the inside, but others have said it felt like bubbles or butterflies. Don't worry, be excited, tomorrow is a BIG day! And I for one can't wait to hear what you are having.

Short version....Your coworker is an idiot!!!
I'm 2 weeks behind you and have only gained 8. Yes, twice what you have gained. But I am not showing either. And I also am still in my low rise jeans. I do believe I am feeling movement though. Had I not felt the "bubble" and then grabbed my doppler to see where the baby was... I wouldn't have known for sure it was the baby moving... But as soon as I put the doppler to the area the bubble came from, I heard the heartbeat. The bubbles are so minimul feeling, you can seriously miss, or mistake it for something else. Don't worry mama, everything is fine! Can't wait to see a pic of your little baby!

My uterus is really tipped and I think that's why my lower back is KILLING me...and maybe another reason I'm not as huge as everything thinks I should be?

Thank you! Another thing is that I was so sick for the first few months I could barely keep anything down besides water and crackers for awhile. They say you should gain 25lbs just in baby, fluid, breast tissue, etc when you're pregnant. My MIL gained 19lbs with one kid and 25lbs with the other--while my mom gained about 60lbs with all three of us...I think it depends on genetics and what you eat and how much you exercise...I bought myself a pedometer that I wear to work and I've been tracking how much I walk each day...most days it's over 2 miles!
