Here is the update My husband Just posted on FB. Looks like he should be well enough to go home Monday, but they will be keeping him until Wednesday to make sure he doesn't relaps. I should be released tomorrow, so I will be going to to him right away.

UPDATE: ok so here is a definition of how things are being done. Luke is completly to term. His lungs are not under developed, the only thing is because of him being delivered by c-section he didnt get squeezed while being delivered so the fluid in his lungs didnt get expelled. So what they are doing is putting a Nasal CPAP ( positive pressure) on him and forcing his lungs to be inflatted and are making his alveoli pop open so the fluid can be pressed back into his ca...pillaries. So then the fluid can be reabsorbed. And then he will be able to breath normally again. It is all beccause of being delivered by c-section. He is perfect in every way. The process of reabsorbtion takes 24-48 hours so hopefully i can take him to see his mommy tomorrow. But timing is never perfect so i will give updates as we go. Thank you all for the wonderful prayers to be continued in a later update.

I am happy for you! So can I ask--why the c-section? I'm assuming it was an "emergency" one?

Yikes...I've never heard of that before...and now I'm worried about that since I'm supposed to have a c-section, too.

I got to 7 CM, then stalled, plus Lukes heart rate kept dipping, and it dipped really bad so they were ready to do an emergency C section, but they were able through rolling me around to get his heart rate back up, so they didn't have to do an emercency c cection but did do it within an hour of deciding. Turned out Luke was facing upward and a little to the right instead of face down, So he actually has a HUGE hematoma from being stuck at the birth canal. And apparently that is the exact reason my mom had to have a C section with me
