Isn't it neat? When are you due again? My baby has gotten a lot more active...sometimes to the point it hurts...the worst is at night when I'm trying to sleep!

Today, it felt like someone was rolling a tennis ball around in my uterus...it didn't hurt but for sure felt weird!

I am due September 16. I'm 22 weeks 3 days, and have only been feeling movement since 19 wks 5 days, so I'm happy to be feeling her moving more!

That is definitely my favorite part of being pregnant!! I can't help but smile when I feel him kicking and squirming, although maybe a little less when his kicks are aimed at my bladder or at my ribs

Don't forget the zylaphone ribs trick. If he hasn't treated you to the sensation yet, just wait...

Kelsey. That person is not your friend. We all know what happened was WELL beyond your control and it was the right thing to do to save Luke. You were in labor for more than 24 hours!!!!! That cannot be safe for ANY baby!!!! Danged FB can be a real pill sometimes and she should have kept her feelings to herself. That was just downright rude and hurtful. And MEAN... I dealt with mean today too - THROAT PUNCH TO MEAN PEOPLE!!!!

I am sooooo mad right now!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you who may end up needing it. My Mom just sent me this. Parsley is suppost to help trigger labor so...

How to make Parsley tea.

1 -Wash the fresh parsley and pat dry. Chop the parsley, if you wish, or leave whole.

2 -Boil one cup of water in a saucepan or tea kettle.

3 -Pour the boiling water over the fresh or dried parsley.

4 -Cover and allowing to steep for approximately five minutes.

5 -Strain the parsley leaves from the infusion, using a strainer. Pour into a tea cup or mug and drink.

There, that's what I think! Seriously, how DARE she make judgments like that about you and Bill, and you HAVING to have a major surgery, like it was some flip decision to get your ears pierced... besides, when did she earn her MD?

(I didn't read what anyone else commented prior to me so I hope I am not repeating anyone)

screw her and her high horse...I wasn't able to nurse or spend bonding time when Shane was 1st born cause I had to go to surgery myself, now it wasn't as long of a period, but I don't think the very instant they are born is going to make a difference. Plus, Shane slept almost the entire time we were in the hospital so there is another reason I don't think the 1st couple days are totally crucial to bonding.
You guys are great parents who love Luke and that's all that matters, anyone who thinks differently can go by the wayside. I would not socialize with such people, a true friend would be sympathetic to your situation not judgemental. You can let her know that God is the only one that can judge anyone and we all will answer to him when the time comes.... she may want to rethink her blabbing at the mouth.
Try to let things like this go and know that there is only one thing that really matters right now...your new family.

I have heard differring opinions on nipple confusion too, some are very wary of it and others say it's no biggie. I think DH is getting over it, the feedings are going more smooth and we are getting a handle on what Shane needs. I think it was hard the 1st few days cause we had no idea what we were doing and with Shane crying he felt helpless. We can now read his cues better and Shane has decided that in the evening he wants daddy to hold and cuddle him. Shane will cry and cry, I hand him to daddy and he almost instantly is quiet. I think Shane gets sick of listening to me all day

I think I will start bottling some milk this weekend and see how it goes, or maybe next week so I can try it out before letting my DH give it a go.
The long awaited poultry auction is this weekend and I convinced my DH to get rid of the one roo he wanted to keep. Wish me luck on getting 4 roos to the auction with a newborn in tow. Atleast the weather is supposed to warm up and we will be in the 70's. Hopefully I can get a few hens while I am there too.

Love to all of you and your families
