Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

Anyone have any tips for exhaustion? I wake up in the morning and am fine for an hour or two, then just crash. If I don't get a nap, I'm usually exhausted until bedtime. Cold water helps somewhat, and so does a walk, but they don't work very well or very long.

Any other ideas?

Iron supplements helped me. I could fall asleep at any given moment, I had no energy for anything and I couldn't stay awake past dinnertime. Turns out I was very anemic with the last 2 pregnancies and taking a 65mg iron supplement made a huge difference!

We just got a Sleep number last week, and so far it's just not working with me, no matter what number it's at.

Give it time. It takes about 3-5 days on each number to find your "sleep number." I am at 35, DH is 45.

I've tried 55, 60, 70 and 75, I always thought I liked firmer, but according to the Sleep number website I sould try 40, so I guess I'll try that tonight.... Hope it works!

I have gone from 45 to 35 to 30 and then back to 35. When I was running this summer and lost weight, I dropped it down. Once you find your sleep number it will be the best night's sleep, ever!

I LOVE mine. We bought it two years ago as each others' birthday AND Christmas presents, LOL It's the king size. The only downside is that I don't get enough sleep lately. I have been falling asleep on the couch and waking up at 11 or 12 and then crawling into bed!

Are you taking a pre-natal vitamin? If so, it should have iron it which helps....but it also makes me sick. I have gotten to taking mine at bedtime and then I have a bottle of water next to my bed which I try to drink at least 1/2 of overnight....my doctor said I wasn't drinking enough water at my last visit. Other than that--have you had your blood sugar checked? When mine gets low, I get super tired, too.

Hey everyone! Just found this thread and wanted to say I guess I fit in here too. I am 28 weeks on my second baby. My son is 3 and this one is a boy too!!

I slept on my couch a lot for the same reason until I got a feather pillow top and folded it in half and sleep on that now. No more hip pain but I do get feathers sticking me sometimes lol.
