Back from the Dr. Unfortunatley I havent had any cervical change since my last appt. 2 weeks ago- still about 2cm dialated and only 50% effaced.

But.....before I even asked, they offered to sweep my membranes!!

I was like HECK YES!! Anything to help things along! It wasnt fun, Dr has kinda short fat fingers, so he had some trouble reaching my cervix. He even made a comment about it being waaaaayy back there! I told him thats the same thing every Dr has told me at this point in my pregnancy and its normal for me. His answer was to schedule me for a 'non-stress test' a week from today and if I havent had the baby by then, he would induce. I was like

whatever....sure Doc....whatever you say. No way am I going for any medical induction unless baby is in trouble, and then I would just opt for a c-section (which would make getting my tubes tied easier on me anyways).

Not really worried about it, every time Ive had a sweep, baby has come within a few days, so, we'll see!!

Oh and NOW my 7 year old has the high fever my 2 year old and then 4 year old had. Grrrrr! Not a good time to have sick kids! I was going to go get sushi for lunch as a treat before baby comes, but I had to go pick up my son from school instead. Bummer. At least it only seems to be a high fever and nothing else, so its something manageable for all of us.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. We're going to find out next week if we're prego with twins. We finally settled on our midwives who hooked up the old Doppler and it sounds like two heartbeats

it's still REALLY early or us as I'm only 10wks but I think I might

if it is twins. I'll eventually be thrilled but I think the initial shock might get te best of me. It would completely explain why my syptoms have been so crazy. I've never in my life had this sort of fatigue. Anyway

to all the new mommas and babies and
