Good luck! The good thing about twins--you're only pregnant once and get twice the babies! Think of it as a two-for-one special!

Now that I've been told I shouldn't ever have children again....I kind of wish I had twins...I already want another one.

I'm sorry to ask, but I was wondering why you were told not to have anymore? I was told the same thing after I had our middle son 2 years ago my dr's said the same thing on top of being told my 3 out of 4 OBGYN's that I actually couldn't have anymore. I was told this because I had internal bleeding & post partum hemoraging due to a "tramatic" delivery w/ him... Then I ended up pregnant while on bc & trying to prevent. Ugh...

I developed HELLP Syndrome and almost died. My chances of getting it again are 1 in 4 and I was told not to press my "luck" a second time since the second time it happens, it's usually worse than the first.

Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear about that. I almost died from the bleeding after having my middle son & wound up in surgery only 4 hours after I had him & was in there for 3 or so hours... Was your LO ok? I had to stay w/ a high risk specialist my whole pregnancy w/ my 3rd son & went through 9 level 2 ultrasounds plus 2 regular ones as well, to make sure he was ok. Very scarey, but well worth it.

Could they monitor you closely if you could find a high risk specialist?

Just short of a backrub from your DH, there isn't a whole lot you can do that you haven't already done. I always took a hot bath, it helped the majority of the time, but not always.

Carly is 5 weeks old today..

We took her to the County Fair last night. She was mesmerized by the lights, we knew she would like those!! She slept most of the time though. She just loves to be pushed in her stoller. It's a shame that my 13 year old niece and her friends were there. Since they were there, we had someone to watch Carly for a second while Dh, myself and my ex sister-in-law decided to be goofy and rode the second scariest ride at the fair.... HOLY MOLY!!!!! I must admit, after it was over, it was fun!! But while it was going I think I may have crushed bones in both my DH and my sister-in-laws' hand... Me and her had death grips on each other..

Here is the ride... It lasted a bit longer than the one in this video. The operator kept asking if we wanted to go one more time.. Us old folks said no. But we were outnumbered by the teenagers..

The fair in the adjacent county has that ride. I just like to stand and watch the people riding it. If I was to ride it now, I would probably pop out a baby.

My doctor wrote me a referral for prenatal massages. I just had to pay my co-pay ($25) for a one-hour massage. I got quite a few of them in the last few months. Other than that--I would soak in epsom salts in the bath and that seemed to help--along with a Tylenol on occasion.

Chiropractic. But make sure they're specialized with pregnant women! It was a saviour in our first pregnancy and I can't wait to have my first adjustment when my Dr gets back from her maternity leave!

I see a chiropractor and it has been nice. I was seeing her before I got pregnant and now, it helps a lot for a few days after but I am hurting for sure by the time a get to go back. I really really really want to get a prenatal massage soooooo badly!
