Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

Rare Feathers:: I have not tried decaf.... I don' thave any or I would. Desperation kicks in sometimes.
Debi:: I eat meat. Can't help it. Hubby thinks he has to have it every night or he will die. So, we do.

I have been eating salads alot lately, and trying things that usually make me have to opposite problem. If I eat a salad 2 nights in a row, I get a little relief, but not much. Plus I took my silkies to a 2 day poutlry show in Newnan, Georgia this weekend and the facility was huge so I had to do ALOT of walking. I figured the extra excercise would help, and it seemed to help a little more than anything else has. I just don't know if I can stand to be on my feet and walking around for nearly 10 hours everyday. It made me swell up like a balloon. I couldn't get my rings off and I could no longer make out my ankles... They blended in so well, you would think I had a leg and foot with nothing in between.
I go back to my OB not tomorrow, but next Monday and I will let her know what's going on and see if we can switch my prenatals to low iron ones or do SOMETHING else!

I know some one posted recently about our emotions being rollercoaster-ish, but does anyone who is early on in pregnancy feel the ups and downs about wondering how well the baby is doing? Maybe I have the ups and downs becuase I haven't reached the magical end to the first trimester, and have experienced a miscarriage. Some days I feel like "Yay! We are having a baby!" and others I feel like "I am sure I am going to miscarry today." It is horrible. We are all told that less worrying and stress is best... but how the heck am I supposed to do that!?

I have never lost a baby and still was like that with both babies. I am at 33 weeks and still have that worry sometimes.
I think I would already be insane by now if it was not for being able to pray and lean on God.

I feel the same way, I am still really early on and am hardly feeling any preg symptoms at all, in fact I even told my mom yesterday, that I don't feel pregnant (unlike my twin pregnancy where I felt pg every second of every day, lol)

But alas, today I was hit with the nausea yuckiness! I think it totally normal for us to worry about the baby, just another blessing of motherhood.

I think I have a bladder infection....my stomach hurts and I have to go pee often but not a lot comes out? By often, I mean like several times an hour. DH said it's probably just the baby pushing on my bladder? I'm only 14 weeks along, though....I will call the DR tomorrow because I'm miserable....we just got back from Seattle (5 hour car ride) and I was gone from Thursday night until about 1/2 hour ago...

I'd go to the doc and get it checked out. That's a lot of going... I'm at 26 wks and I think it's bad when I have to go twice in two hours.

Yeah....we had to stop about 7 times on the way home...and I've barely drank anything all day long...I'm thirsty now and on my second bottle of water but still very uncomfortable.

Honestly, I'd say two or three times an hour I'm having to go....and you know that feeling when you REALLY have to go and your stomach starts to hurt? That's what it feels like. So I go and barely pee and then it still feels like I need to pee.

That doesn't sound good at all - I'll second what everyone else has said - go see your doctor! Hope its nothing serious, but if it is a UTI, you'll want to get it cleared up asap because those can cause pre-term labor, especially later in pregnancy.

Good luck!

I am by NOOO means an expert on this but when I feel like that it sometimes is a Urinary tract infection but sometimes I will feel like that and I will double up on my water and it will go away. Good thing you are going to the DR soon.

Soooo.. Because a nosey butt former step mother of my daughter poked around on all her FRIENDS pages on FB, Sara had to spill the beans, 4 weeks earlier than she wanted to.

Now everyone knows: three babies due in early fall. Lord, please let the rest of the kids wait til next year for more.
