ok, dont do this to me. I was fine a minute ago, very thankful I am having my baby shower tomorrow. Now I only have 8 weeks to get the babies room ready

good thing he wont care what it looks like until much later.
I will have to share that info with my DH and see if that motivates him to get this house fixed up!

hmm...shocking I see another boy has been added to the list on this forum! I agree with what was said earlier about this being the year of the rooster!

LOL, at least your shower gives you time, Mine is only 4 weeks before Luke is due!

I have his room pretty much set up, but it needs wall decor and shelves, and a cute rug, and I have clothes and Diapers piled on his dresser that I need to put away. Oh and the window valance needs to go up.

Let me preface this by saying maybe I'm a little weird

Does anyone else sing to their babies (in utero)? I sang to my daughter all the time (still do, actually). I had lots of fun songs I sang her while I was pregnant, and I think she actually recognized some of them when she was born.

I've been singing to this baby too, but for whatever strange reason I've been feeling like I should sing stuff like "Phantom of the Opera" or "Evita". I'm not really sure that "Music of the night" is going to be the best lullaby, but yet I continue.

Anyone else sing to their babies, or am I just really strange?

well, mine hears me sing all the time. 35 minute minimum commute to work so mine should be familiar with my entire mp3 collection

but really, I do talk to him especially when he is moving around. You aren't crazy (or maybe I mean we are all crazy and you are no worse off) some people put headphones on their tummies for the baby.

CONGRATS!!! Boys are so fun and funny! Since you dont get as wrapped up in the whole 'cute clothes' thing as much, you seem to spend more time just enjoying their personalities and watching them be goofballs!

But, please, keep all those wonderful boy vibes waaaaaaayyy over there with you!

After 4 boys in a row I am

for a GIRL this time. Wont know for about 5 or 6 more weeks, though, cant stand the waiting!!

We took one of those 'Inteligender' tests the other day and it said GIRL, but I dot really trust it. I'm almost sorry I took it, since it kinda raises my hopes. I think I read somewhere that my chances of having a girl after 4 boys are actually lower than the normal 50/50 chance they give you as far as gender in each pregnancy.
I'm thinking my hubby only shoots boys these days! Sooo not fair since he had 3 girls before I met him!

The Chinese birth chart is never wrong! At least so far with anyone I've ever asked! LOL

It was wrong for my friend's little girl.

Oh I hope it's right for me.... We would love to have a boy first. And the chart pointed to BOY! So maybe....

Every Baby dream I have had, even before we knew what we were having, the baby was always a boy, except for one where I delivered a boy, then had a surprise twin girl... Hope that part doesn't come true!

I used to put headphones around my belly. And after all that, the theme song for All My Children is what got his attention.

I use something called Belly Buds, they are little speakers that stick to your belly, so you can play music for baby. We always end our music session with Somwhere over the Raindow/Wonderful World by IZ, because I want that to be his soothing song. But he hears me sing everytime I am in the car, and he hears his Daddy sing all the time, because Bill Is always singing something. Bill can't do anything without singing about it, I mean serously he'll be in the bathroom singing about pooping.
