Ms.FuzzyButts :

I got my doppler off of Ebay and it works great! It's digital, so it shows the heartrate.. $58 and free shipping isn't bad at all.

I have been debating getting one. What model did you end up with?

It's the Sonoline B.. You can see it here: Sonoline B

Do you tend to use it every night before bed or just when you are having on one of those dreaded "I am worried about my baby" moments?

I have my next doctor's appointment on Tuesday morning....I'll be 16 weeks then!

I am not sure what they're doing besides the normal blood pressure & pee in a cup?

Oh and how far along were you all before you felt any movement? Everyone's been asking...and no...so far, nothing....

Tuesday is also my anatomy scan ultrasound day!! I'm sooo excited (I'm 17 weeks today!). Your Dr. will probably just do blood pressure, pee in a cup, doppler HB check, weight check and answer questions. That's what most of the rest of the visits will consist of - mine were all about 10-15 minutes each until I started going in for NSTs later on.

I've been feeling a little bit of movement for about 2 weeks now, but it's not consistent or easy to detect (Although I'm feeling some right now!!!). I felt my DD for the first time when I was about 16 1/2 weeks - but those first movements take a little bit of imagination! Don't worry if you can't feel your baby before 20 weeks or so; it will come!

I started feeling little things around 17 weeks, and now at 30 weeks the movements have changed from jerky kicks, to something that feels like someone pressing and rolling a softball from the inside out on my belly. Very Strange! And when he stretches it feels like two people each grabbing a side of my belly and pulling back and forth.

I use it whenever the mood strikes. But, the "I am worried about my baby" moments, come alot for me. I'm not really worried, I just still seem to be in the "Is this real?'' phase.
