Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

Ms.FuzzyButts :

Random thought.......... I have always liked roasted red bell peppers. I made chicken fajitas Sunday night that I added some to along with some green ones. Holy Cow!!! I pigged out.. They were so flippin delicious. So I made fajitas again tonight and roasted up more red peppers than I did on Sunday.. I told DH I felt like I could wrap up nothing more than red peppers in my tortilla and gobble it up.. He laughed.. I can't help the fact that obviously the baby LOVES roasted red bell peppers. Poor baby is getting blamed for everyting already....

oddly enough, I think my DH is diappointed that I haven't had any cravings. He keeps asking me what I have been craving, but I have no answer! Except, maybe a yager bomb...but that will have to wait. I think he just wants to be able to run to the store and give me something that I really want

I go back and Forth, this morning I feel like I can't wait to be done with pregnancy and hold my little man, but at the same time I have 9.5 weeks left and hope he stays at least that long, because by then Hubby will only have 2 weeks of school left until his summer break, and our savings will be able to carry us through my 2 weeks off. But man is this boy putting a lot of pressure on my spine, he kicked last night so hard that My eyes welled up and hubby had to rub my back
sad.png
. I would do this all again in a heartbeat, but I think we have finally hit the hardest part of the pregnancy, the "OMG he's almost here, I'm not ready, but OMG I wanna see my feet again!" Stage.

How are you feeling? Are you ready?

How are you feeling? Are you ready?

A little on the time crunch, getting all the last minute stuff. I will feel ready as far as supplies soon since I got a lot of stuff last weekend. Babies r us had a coupon for play pens and high chairs so we scooped those up.

Ya, the movements have been getting a lot different. Some even rock me when I am sitting or laying down and ya..he has found a spot that nearly brings me to my knees on occaision. I am feeling a little anxious cause the reality of how the hell will I pay all the bills on disability? So, I am trying to organize that now so I can enjoy as much as I can of my time with Shane before I have to go back to work.

But at the same time, oh I can't wait! He is almost ready to come out and knowing that some come early....in a few weeks he could actually come early and be OK...not that I expect that or really want it. I can't wait to see what he looks like, hopefully he's not ugly, lol!

I have an appointment today and now I start every 2 weeks, seeing the doc always gets me excited. Hope my weight is not an issue and am afraid it is, may have to work in more food since I lost a few pounds (gained 1 overnight though!) just too darn busy, I need to chill out more. Told work that I will be taking a bit of vaca time in the next month or 2 so that I can relax a little, thinking that will help, oddly enough, I am now starting to have thoughts like...have I been doing enough to be sure he is healthy? cause if he comes out with defects I will always wonder if I had taken it a little easier or ate more carrots or......

oh...I just bought a crib mobile on ebay.....waaaaaaayyyyyy cheaper than in the store and new in box still. Who knew crib mobiles were so darn expensive? All you really need is a small motor, music box and some toys when you think about it!

I craved Malibu rum when I was pregnant...my mom called the baby Malibu until he was born!

Oh, by the way, I know I'm a lurker and I had my baby 7 months ago, but I'm going off BC at the end of April (that's when my depo is up), so will hopefully be joining the club again officially this summer!

I have a spot on my back that my Husband can just lightly poke, and it will drop me to my knee's, Hope Luke doesn't figure out how to kick that spot from the inside!

I feel unprepared right now, but my Shower is set for April 16th, and I'm hoping my mom will come over the day after to help me organize all the gifts, and finally finish the Nursery. All the furniture is set, and the crib is complete with crib set. Just need the things like Changing pad, Mobile, Pack and Play, and all the little stuff like towels, bath, washcloths, and I would like to find some more Wall decor.

I craved Quality Tequila, Hubbys Very Dutch grandmother said from the very beginning that the baby was a little dutch boy, because of that, lol.

One of a few ways, just depends on how much of a hurry I am in. I either cut them in half, seed them, coat them in olive oil and put them on the grill flipping them until slightly charred. Or I do them this way. But if I am in a hurry, I just slice them into strips and stir fry them in a little vegetable oil for about 5 minutes or until nice and limp with a little charring.. I do not bother removing the skin if I do it like this. After stir frying, it would be impossible anyway! And if all else fails, you can find them in the canned vegetable section of the grocery store ready to eat for a couple of dollars. Perfect for the winter months when it's hard to find certain veggies. Sometimes my small town grocery store has fresh ones, sometimes they don't. But this year they will be added to our garden and we'll be growing and canning our own.
