I am sorry about your craptastic day.

Hopefully, it will get better! Are you having to go in once a week now for check ups?

I am still having to have a c-section at this point and May 10th, they will be picking a date for me. My doctor said it's usually 38 weeks or so since the baby is considered full-term at that point.

UGh, I am just ready to cry

Just had to reschedule my appointment, which is no biggie, it's set for tomorrow. The truck I was going to use to go to my appointment is still attached to a giant goose neck trailer and all the men folk who know how to unhook it are not around, so I had to move my appointment, but I feel bad, because DH is at one of the hospitals doing clinical rotations, and he asked if after my appointment I could bring his cell phone that I accidently took this morning, and he needs his laytex gloves that are here with me, as the hospital doesn't carry his ginormous size. I just had to call him and tell him I have no way of getting to him, he understands, but he is having a very bad day too, and this just made it worse. Can I just go crawl back into bed with hubby and stay there?

Thank you, I shouldn't be whining, you have scary things on your mind today, but I pray everything has resolved itself for you.

I'm trying to not be nervous but I'm sick to my stomach. I'm too scared to eat anything because I feel that worried.

good luck rare feathers!

Oh kelsey - sorry your day sucks a big one. Just pull the pins and raise up the trailer until in unlatches...sorry

Ya, I imagine your DR doesn't like to check your dilation I bet he wouldn't try anything like the cervix thing she mentioned

hope your day goes better! Go hug a chicken or Emu

...still pregnant...good friend says I should break out my breast pump to get things going...another says to walk around the block 50 times (I live on a county road, so my block is like about 3 miles around....150 miles of walking should do it, right? lol).

I know...what if I pump WHILE I walk around the block?

Might have to deliver baby at the county jail, right?

hehe

I'm delirious with pregnancy...can you tell????

I know you said "uncomfortable," but this just sounds down right painful!

Ok- you called me on it

!! Yes, it is painful, IF its done right, which means a FULL sweep, all the way around your cervix on the inside. BUT, I have been over a week late and the pain (which lasts about 30 to 60 seconds) to me, was SOOOO worth the results! It isnt dangerous and doesnt have any potential risks that I am aware of, so I went for it! It isnt right for everyone for sure, and I know alot of moms prefer not to have any kind of intervention for as long as possible, and thats probably a good thing in the long run. I wouldnt suggest anything I havent done myself- I was just tossing the info out there since I wasnt aware of the procedure with my first child until a DR told me about it. Just a possible solution to the never ending pregnancy! LOL!

Oh and BEWARE ladies! Some DRs have been known to do a membrane sweep during a routine cervical check if you are close to your Due Date, so if you DONT want the procedure, you may want to lightly mention it. Its NOT cool for a DR to do it w/out your consent, and very, very few will do so w/out telling you first, but just in case any of ya have an 'old school' Doc, I wanted to let ya know it was a possibility. Sorry if I gave any of ya yet another thing to worry about, but its not too big a deal in the end either way.

Technically I know how to unhitch the trailer, it's just really hard for me because it's a goose neck, so getting up and down in the truck bed, and raising the trailor is a PITA, and I hate driving that Big thing, it's like a Semi. MIL just came over and said she has had a crazy morning too, and when she gets back from the final inspection of our house, she will be unhitching the trailer, because the way this day is going, it would be just our luck that my water will break and we will be huffing between contractions to get the trailer off the dang truck!
