Back from the test and shopping for some fabric to make curtains in the nursery!

I know a few ladies that are going to be Jealous with a capital J.... They let me have an option between the drink or eating 18 jelly beans in 2 minutes or less. Not the little ones, the fat ones. I had to eat 3 or 4 at a time to beat the time limit. It was some heavy chewing and my jaws got tired, but I did it. Much more pleasant than a flat, sugery drink! As for the ultrasound, she is a stubborn little thing. A trait of her daddys no doubt! The last time she took 30 minutes before she gave even a glimpse of her privates. So much of a little glimpse that the tech said she was only pretty sure it's a girl.. This time around she only blocked her privates for a second with the heel of her foot, then we got the full monty! She was proud of it this time..

BUT!!! She refused to uncover her face..

So I have no picture to show off. Ya'll will have to wait just like we do. Ughh..... Atleast I can safely buy pink stuff now!

Is it a baby girl thing to be, um, conservative during an ultrasound?

I think so! As soon as DH saw she had it covered again, he said she was just like me. I tend to agree with him for once...

I'm about to go have my glucose test this morning.. I dread it after some of the stories on here...

But the silver lining is that I get to have another ultrasound afterwards..

She was so jiggly last time they didn't get a good look at her heart. Can't wait to see how she looks now!!! I hope they let me have some photos like the last time. I will post them when I get back if they do...

And I thought I had alot left to do! I've got 12 weeks give or take. The nursery is about finished but, my house looks like a college dorm room from cleaning the junk out of the nursery. I've tossed a bunch of stuff but have no idea where I am going to shove what's left. Mobile homes have zero storage space!!!!

I more than agree with the storage space issue! I don't even have a clue where the rest of the stuff from the nursery will go!

Exactly a week from today DH and I are off to see what kind of goods our little munchkin has got! I'll be 20 wks & 5 days.
Excited is an understatement, but what really is the killer - having to wait another whole week!

I'm carrying crazy low, it's heart rate was 174 the first time and in the 150s the second and third time I went in, my hips haven't widened, etc... Which I will be estatic if it is a boy! But I think it'll be a girl just because I'm so attached to the thought of having a boy

I told DH to go ahead and be prepared for the sad "aww, nuts!" moment ((or lack there of, haha!)) if it turns up to be a princess

Same here, heart rate was 176, then 150's etc... My neighbor was the only one that guessed it would be girl. I figured it might be a girl just because I wanted a boy so bad. I'm convinced that you get the opposite of what you wish for. Gee, I sure wish I was broke....
