I guess if you have a theme it makes it easier. I love the cherry blossom one! Ah! Gorgeous!

Holy cow! I'm in the same boat, I would never be able to decide!

I didn't realize they had so many options! I just looked at AC Moore and Michael's over the weekend - nothing.

etsy.com is where it's at. Such an awesome site!

I'm having the WORST day ever - actually week... started yesterday with some stuff I don't want to go into (property tax confusion) . Last night my 2 month old doeling got caught in the storm THOUGHT everyone was safe and inside.

She's spent the night in my bath tub on dry towels after I had given her a vigourous rub down to dry her off.

Still alive and fighting this morning - drenching her and giving her oral fluids as she'll take them.

Then, called the feedstore for Vit B Complex for her - they said they have it - drive down and THEY DON'T HAVE IT. argh! bought the nutri drench instead and ran home to dose her - she's now picking her head up more than she was so

that it's a good sign.

While at the feedstore, where I'm a regular mind you and have been in and out of there several times over the last weeks/months - the cashier (who's ALWAYS there and ALWAYS checks me out) says, "I didn't know you were pregnant!"

SERIOUSLY?! I'm having this baby in 9 weeks and I just NOW look pregnant to her? I've been obviously showing for a couple MONTHS let alone WEEKS! I know I was already over weight, but I didn't think I was big enough to hide a pregnancy!

It's one of those unwritten rules.

I'm sorry about your poor baby

But so glad she's improving! I'm the biggest wreck when it comes to something and my animals.

And quite frankly, I don't think she meant it badly. I mean, it's hard to notice someone being pregnant when they look fabulous in the process!
I'd bank on jealous.. Yep.. She probably looked like the marshmallow man while carrying her munchkin

tehe!

Aww, sorry you had such a bad morning! I hope your little one does alright! It sounds like you're taking very good care of her! She'll be right as rain in no time!

I bet the cashier just never noticed before because like MrsKemmerlin said, you are just looking fabulous!

I'm always afraid I'm just looking absolutely HUGE rather than pregnant! especially with this pregnancy, I'm carrying more 'around' rather than 'out'. -.- Yay. I didn't start showing as soon either.

Unless she chooses otherwise.

LOL true, but there's no good nickname for the name we chose! I always try to do that - choose a name that doesn't have a nickname
big_smile.png

My oldest DD tried to shorten her name once, and my DH told her "that is not your name" she's never tried since LOL

I love people talking about their names. & decor too!!

We had a girl's name picked out for a few years (since getting off OCP)- Madelline. My middle name is Dell, which is a family name, and thought it'd be a good namesake to have. We don't love Maddy for a nickname but Ellie, Ady, Line, etc all seemed fine for us. Of course, it is going to be what she wants anyway.

For a boy, we have NO CLUE! We both like the name Jacob but it was #1 for 2010! Ugh! And we have a common last name so are trying to avoid uber common first names. Oh wel- several more weeks left for us.

It's getting harder and harder I think to find an original name.

The name we have picked for our little girl, we hadn't heard it used that much - just once for a female character in a movie and it's the name of a baseball player (got flack for that from a friend - I've only ever heard of it used for a BOY) Whatever. Just last week we found out that last year, our girls name made the top 100 girls names for 2010. Oh well.

A lot of names are gender neutral nowadays. Mom's name is Karen, and we have met a guy named Karen, too....kind of like Kerry/Carrie or Kelly/Kellie

I've also heard of boys and girls named Kaden. I like it spelled Kaeden and for a boy, but some people like it for girls.

Tristan, I've seen used for both, too.

I like older names that seem to have gone "out" of style. Like Eli, Elisha, Isaiah (tho this one is coming back), Rebekah (spelled this way).

One of my top favorite boy names were Nathan Isaiah (didn't use nathan, but one of my boys has Isaiah for a middle name) and Kaleb James. Didn't get to use either of the second name.

I like Lael or Layla for a girl, too - but hubby said no so I bought goats and named them Layla and Lael.

I liked Laura for awhile, Jenna, Micah, Porsche,...lol

Our neighbor has a Tiara and a Mercedes. Another lady I know named her daughter Allusion.

Last night my husband said he didn't care if I added Ruth as a second middle name - though he gave me a great bit of teasing about our little "Baby Ruth" lol

UGH HORRIBLE DAY!

Since last Thurs I have been dealing with some sort of stomach bug/virus which left me pretty dehydrated. I went to the Dr who sent me to the ER so I was there today from 8:15-1:00 with monitors and 3 bags of IV fluids. Worst of all Hubby is away on business all week. I am now on bed rest until Friday...good luck with that since no help on the farm. We have 30+ chickens, 3 horses, 2 goats, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 rabbits I need to take care of. Plus it is 100 all week and the only AC is in out bedroom. Guess I will spend the night shopping on Etsy in the AC to try an cheer myself up. At least the baby is ok

He has been kicking the crap out of me all day (and the Dr when feeling my belly and trying to get a heartbeat on the monitor
