It really sucks right now but it will be over soon. Did those succulents make it ok? I also have a little surprise that I'm putting in the mail tomorrow. Hopefully it'll brighten your spirits even if it's only for a short while!

Yes--I did get them--THANK YOU! They are already planted in cute little containers--thanks to DH!

It can be more intense than that, like mine were. I had the sharp, stabbing type when I moved AND the dull achy type that was pretty much constant whether I was moving or not. Here's a link that describes what they feel like and how to help ease the pain:
http://www.babycenter.com/0_round-ligament-pain_205.bc

Mine was a one-time deal that shot me out of bed...it felt almost like a bad charley-horse mixed with the ligament separating from my body!

It was so bad...I hobbled into the bathroom and got sick (threw up). I was sweating & shaking. After a few minutes, it went away. I have had dull aches & pains around that same area since....but I'm not sure if it's round ligament pain or just round ligament stretching and trying to support my enormous baby bump! LOL

I have no idea why they stopped the contractions....but I'm looking forward to my appointment this morning.

I had been taking the anti-contraction drugs all day yesterday and as of last night at 8pm the drugs stopped working. I took another dose at 2am and did not take one this morning, yet.

I'm having contractions (almost constant) but they are maybe a 3 out of 10 on the pain scale. Similar to bad period cramps.

So I'm just going to keep busy, get some last-minute things cleaned and wait for my appointment....

Nice pics Mrs.K! My little girl still will not show her face... ughh! She just doesn't realize she only has about 30 days left (Give or take) and we get to see her in person!

Had my 36 week visit this morning. They did an ultrasound to measure her and she weighs approximately 7lbs 1oz... Then I had a crotch check afterwards..
I'm 1cm dialated, 70% effaced and she is at a -2 station. And still head down and ready to go. Got the strep B test and some more bloodwork done, too. After We left from her office, DH and I went to L&D on the 2nd floor for a tour. The rooms are very nice, which made me feel better. When my Sis in law delivered at the other hospital in town, the rooms were sort of plain jane and all gloomy looking.. These are nice enough I am sort of looking forward to my stay...

Yay! I was also 1cm and 70% effaced at my 36 week appointment...I know I'm more than ready to get this show on the road!

I have her little bag packed--complete with two coming home outfits (one is a duck/chick onesie with short sleeves & no legs on it) and the other is a footie pj monkey outfit with matching hat...I might bring another--just in case.

it's been 90+ degrees here during the day but gets in the 60s at night...so I wanted at least a few options for her, not knowing what time we'd be coming home.

I'm wondering what else to pack for the baby? The car seat is installed...I have lots of receiving blankets, booties, mittens, a bottle, newborn diapers (with the belly button cut outs)....

Since you have an appointment today, you just may want to take that bag with you today just in case they decide to keep you. Good luck with your appointment!

Yeah I have my bag & the baby's bag next to the door...DH is driving me since the anti-contraction meds lower my blood pressure so much and I'm sort of dizzy. He has to come home anyway to feed/water everything and he'll be grabbing the bags...I don't want to leave them in the car because all of my cosmetics & toiletries will blow up in this heat.
