I suppose I will just camp out over here for awhile longer. The Human baby thread is the least liveliest place on BYC. I swear, if you click on the thread and listen, you can hear crickets chirping.....

I say that, then when my kiddo gets mobile and talkative, you won't see me on BYC very often either....

My kid is going to think her mama was a bum! Nearly every prego picture I have taken has been in house clothes or really crappy PJs.

ETA: Hubby and I had the homeschooling vs. public school discussion last night. We are seriously considering homeschooling our kid(s).

Well, I have my *last* Dr appt this morning. Today is supposed to be my 'due date', but so far, nothing seems to be happening (common for me though, no labor in the AM, then full labor by the PM!). Just never know...

I am going to ask him to sweep my membranes, if the baby is in a good position. Its worked for me before, so I am hopeing it will this time too. Only this time, I hope I dont deliver until Saturday since I would LOVE to have an October baby (I dont know why, I just think it would be cool!) that way his B-day would be 10-01-2011, I like all the ones and zeros for whatever weird reason!

Oh and ladies- TAKE PREGGO PICS!!!! Even if you NEVER show them to a soul, take them anyways!! Take a few in a bikini or cute undies too, when youre big and round (those are just for you and hubby!) Take them EVERY chance you get, no matter your size or shape, PLEASE!!! You WILL be sooooo glad you did someday (and if your not, just delete or trah em, no harm no foul). One thing you cant do is get this time back, you can never repeat THIS pregnancy with THIS child. Its so AMAZING to look back at the photos, if you have them. House dress, muu-muu, shorts, or dress, you will cherish those pictures, and enjoy the memories!


I really regret not taking more pictures of past pregnancies, I wish I had taken more of them, and I am taking more this time. The one thing I do have is an ugly old blue dress that I was given by my best High School friend that I have worn for every pregnancy. It has fit me before , during and after all my pregnancies, and is just like a part of me! Even if she never uses it, I am passing it on to my DD someday.

So, take pictures everyone! You dont have to share them (but we wouldnt mind!

I agree on the prego photos.. I am very photo shy and only let hubby take one. Then at 37 weeks I bit the bullet and took one myself. It's a darn good thing because the next week, Carly was here!!
