Luckily, I have registered for all Burt's Bees products, fragrance free!

I like the Burts mainly because it's made locally here in NC, but I'm a huge fan of Aveeno products as well.

Growing up, I was the kid with random rashes so I used a lot of Aveeno products for sensitive skin. Burt's didn't exist then and there weren't many options for fragrance free. I just wish Burt's Bees products were a little more affordable

Our wal-mart has them for pretty cheap and I've gotten stuff off eBay before

Here they are, They got to go home last evening after he failed the car seat test Tuesday and then passed it Wednesday. He weighed 4 lbs 8 oz at release. With very little eating. Mom tried and tried to get him to breast feed he just didn't get the hang of it. He is taking in 1.5 oz every 3 hrs now.

I have a HUGE RANT!!!!!!!!!!!! How stupid are people, putting their nasty NON washed fingers in a brand new babys mouth. GRRRRRRRRR. I had to get onto 2 people that has 3 kids 2 of which are twins so they know how tender them little little ones are. And then the baby's older sisters. they are home and locking the door and not answering the door now to keep this little one safe from ignorant people.

OK, So I'm newly pregnant with my first and I'm just going nuts with all the changes! I'm happy to be pregnant, but gosh, I've lost 5 lbs in the last week because I'm just so sick and gross feeling and I've become completely useless around the house because I'm always tired! I'm a little disenchanted being from a family with very few pregnancy side affects, I guess I'm just the lucky odd man out.

Everyone says I'll get over this soon, which is what I'm looking forward to, but I had noooooo idea this stuff was coming.

I'm in week eight and am due at the end of june, anyone else expecting around that time?

Congrats! I know that krote and I are due in March. My midwife said I'd most likely deliver in February sometime, though. Not sure if there are any due in June -- I'm sure more will show up. : ) I'm always really sick with my babies, so I feel for you! Take care and it's okay that your sick and tired -- take care of yourself.

Hey guys...just checking in....

Tuesday morning was really hard. I cried for most of the morning at work...and then I was so excited to get home I ended up losing the car key--it was just a single key because I had DH's car that day because he was picking up Audrey and didn't want to mess with figuring out how to install the car seat in his '97 Altima.

So I get off work at 5pm and spent 1/2 hour looking for the key. I searched my coat, jeans, dumped out my purse, looked in the bathroom, the office, the street, everywhere I'd been that day...nothing. My boss and two other co-workers stayed and helped me look for it.

I call DH and tell him--he reminds me that is the ONE & ONLY key for that car.

Tells me to call a locksmith and he'll get the baby packed up and come down.

Two minutes later, I find the car keys one of the bags of groceries I'd gotten at lunch that day and put in the fridge at work. As it turns out, it was in a bag of stuff that did not need to be refrigerated and a bag I'd left in the car. I left the car unlocked on accident because I had my hands full when I got back to work with bags of groceries, my purse and my lunch.

So I called DH back and told him I found the keys, don't worry about coming down to get me.

That day, I parked on the hill behind the courthouse (normally, I park in front but had those groceries to carry in & put in the fridge, so the back door is easier for me)...anyway, I turned the tires/steering wheel because I didn't trust the parking brake on DH's ghetto car.

I went to start the car and the key would not turn in the ignition because the steering wheel was locked. I could not unlock it. After about 10 minutes, I was in tears and called DH.

No answer. I left a message.

And waited.

And waited.

I decided to call his parents. They said he was outside feeding/watering everything and they'd yell at him to call me back (they were watching Audrey for him).

So they call out to him to call me back but he's not outside.

I wait and call him back...get the machine again.

I hang up and call back again.

He answers, all flustered and says he was in the bathroom.

I explain what's going on and he says he'll be there in 25 minutes.

He leaves home, gets to my work, drives by and doesn't see his car (where I normally park) so he thinks I must have gotten it started and left.

Eventually, he drove back by and saw me on the side street. He had to really reef on the wheel to get it unlocked.

I didn't get home until almost SEVEN!

But when I did get home--Audrey had to tell me all about her day! She was cooing and smiling...seemed to be doing really well. She didn't nap much or eat much that day but slept pretty well that night. Yesterday morning, I had to drop her off and that was really hard. I kept it together until I got into my car and then I lost it. She came home last night with a rash that we figured out was a heat rash from her fleece pjs and the baby-sitter's super-hot (woodstove-heated) house.

I'm very thankful tomorrow is Friday. I don't know that I'll put Audrey down all weekend!

Here are some pics I took of her Monday afternoon.
