I thought the shell was necessary to supply calcium for bone development and as the calcium gets used, the shell becomes more porous and therefore easier to pip through.

Do they make plastic Easter eggs in a clear version? Might be interesting to be able to see the development while they are in egg shape, but pretty sure it probably wouldn't have enough air exchange in a plastic shell. And would have to be on hand to "hatch" them out of the shell once yolk is absorbed. Bowl is probably easier, definitely watching this thread, hope they make it. :)
 
Ok almost 72 hours in and I see blood and vessels:ya I labeled the cups so you all can see better which eggs are progressing. Eggs 1-4 are BBS Ameracauna Rooster over a Rainbow Dixie (Pioneer)Hen. And #5 is full blood Ameracauna.:clap
