I always just made warm water and put the amount of sugar I felt was needed as long as it is still a liquid

It’s around 95 degrees, I read an article that said that was right for his age

I made him take about 5 mouthfuls before I put him back in the brooder to take a break I think I’ll give him more later. Is that enough to perk him up or should I make him have some more?
