Today’s question is what is your favorite place in your area

guess that depends on what you consider your area. like distance wise.

mine would either by my family' farm or up north fishing on trout streams (even though its like 5 hours away from where i live)

a funny story? a got a few.
here is one that i think is funny yet not funny at the time lol.

okay so am a part time fur trapper, pretty much focus on raccoons with dog proof traps, and run two traps most of the season. so my catch rate is pretty low, but one morning i went to check my traps before school, found something tripped the trap and was hiding behind the tree i tied the trap to. just caught a raccoon a day or two before. so am thinking awesome another one. so i go walk up to it and see my catch, hoping for some big boar. and well,

its a skunk! like 5 feet from me, in this trap, i slowly back up and walk away getting my .22 to go dispatch it, long story short, turns out you need to shoot them in the heart, if you head shot them they spray every where, found that out the hard way. and that dog proof coon traps can and will catch skunks.

but i did skin and sell the pelt from the skunk. got 10$ from it which made it worth dealing with the smell for like 2 months in that area lol.

we set live traps to catch raccoons by my chicken coop all the time i have found a bantam in there a couple of times. my dad used to to do a lot of trapping he sold pelts but he said the market has gone down to much so its not worth it much anymore

A tradition after one of our 4-h livestock shows is to go to dq every year after. One time I ordered a different flavored blizzard than normal. I was the first person in line and no one else was there yet. So I heard them say something and watched them set the cop down so I assumed it was mine in till I took a bite apparently it wasn’t no ever said that they were missing a blizzard though. I was totally embarrassed and my friends were laughing at me. So we get to my house cause we only take one trailer for all the animals so when we get there I get out and talk to my friend well my brother unloads his steer. And she accidentally took the number card so we all laughed and made fun of each other we we’re both so embarrassed. We swore not to mention it to each other ever again
