Feathers Missing and What Looks To Be Blood!

A couple of our girls have a similar thing going on. Ours is from them hopping up and down and rubbing against the hardware cloth when they see us outside. We release them from the run every afternoon before dusk so it's understandable that they get a bit excited when they spot us headed their way. Could yours be from something as simple as that?

Kind of. All of our chickens get excited to us when we go outside. We have a dog fence that we open up to let them walk around the house sometimes. However, I would feel that if she has it from this, the others would to?

Out of our 6 girls only 2 have "rub spots" from going back and forth and hopping up and down. Keep an eye on her and watch what she does.

What we notice is we will go to our bush/garden to get a "treat" for them and they will watch us. As we are coming back, she will be crazy and move her head up and down almost as if shes trying to find a way to gt to us.
