February Hatch-A-Long

Have 6/9 drawing down big time! . And lots of wavy movement on the air sac when I candle. pretty cool to watch. I’ve got my family in on it now LOL everyone comes to watch when I candle. They weren’t much interested when I started this or when I was building the incubator...

Steady 55-60% humidity. Drops to 40’s when I open but recovers within 3-5min.

Couple other eggs look days behind I’d guess. 1 still looks questionable, but still has veins and occasional movement.

I am not freaking out about humidity- round 60%. I have hatched a bunch before. I am Zen. I have not opened since day 17 or so.

This little one just hatched. Power was out for about 90 minutes total. No harm done apparently.
She is Ameraucana/silkie cross. Hard to tell in photos but the egg is a pale blue.
Only one like it this go round. I put it in the incubator on a whim, it was the last egg my Ameraucana laid before I sold her. It had been in the fridge about a week.

Ok going to try and post pics from my phone. I have 11 now and one pip in the incubator, so maybe 1 more still to come! 9 Swedish Flowers, 1 BO/SF mix and 1 Buff Orpington (the head injury chick). The one with the head injury is doing great but the other chicks are still pecking it’s head a bit. I might end up separating it but we’ll see. Here are a few pics if can figure out how to post.
