Just out of curiosity, how frequently does one here peeping from a chick who has only barely pipped?

They are resting- and still absorbing at first pip. (blood veins and goo!)

Day 20 still, 7 pips, of the 16, (including the dark egg...

And one out. This chick is a mosaic- They are supposed to have blue skin, does anyone know what breeds make up a mosaic? I really like this one.

Random I think. I have heard loud chirping from some and no chirping at all from others.

I am sitting on the couch with the lap top, I want to go go get "Valiant Thor" my Mosaic, let is snuggle my neck, but DH will snag the computer if I do. I will wait for him to go to his office.

Valiant hatched at the beginning of day 20, and it is still day 20 till this evening, then it starts to be day 21. I have to keep reminding myself, they have a whole 1.5 days left to hatch and maybe more if they wait until day 22.

I was reading up on Mosaics and they are a hi-bred which I knew, but they do use an AC in the mix! Yeah! Now I own 2 AC mixes that came from blue eggs!
