I have always liked and have some AC chickens but am not crazy about the tan/cream egg color. Just because I have many tan eggs already. But I recently hatched out 2 AC mixes that look very AC that have a blue egg gene. I am excited, and if one ends up a rooster, even better!

I had never heard of mosaic chickens, looked them up and they are gorgeous birds! Can’t wait to see what yours looks like when it all feathers out.😊

He may be darker and not all mosaic-y but I am okay with that. I put him in a brooder with a stuffy, and a mirror. I give my chicks beds lil' beds and quilts in the first week they love'm.

I read up I am sure silky is in there, also AC, I always wanted my own silky-AC mix.
Below is a pic of an EE/silky kinda looks mosaic-y. The chicks are just for myself. I love mixes, and I got a good price on my eggs.

chick to the front is Silky/EE, right behind her is a silky mix- hiding, to the left the short black is a AC/EE mix looks AC, above her is a B&W AC mix, and a Cochin mix rooster.
