Crowing
Set 24 eggs, three were not fertile and one was a fairy egg (my fault for not candling good to see it didn’t have a yolk), I just assumed it was a bantam egg haha. The remaining 20 are going strong! Should be hatching Feb 7th!

No more crazy than the rest of us, l am sure!Count me in! I have 7 Black / Fawn / Khaki Silver Duckwing OEGB eggs in the incubator, due to hatch around Valentine's dayI've also pretty much decided that I'm going to collect a second batch of ~6 OEGB eggs and set them as soon as possible, so it'll probably be two hatches in February for me! Apparently I've gone insane!

Do you hand-turn? I heard it isn't good to do staggered hatches with automatic turners for the safety of the chicks, which I guess makes sense. Anything else you do special? *Hopes to replace dud eggs in future*Of the 19 I had originally, I just pulled nine that were obviously clear. Seven look like they’re doing something and the rest are questionable, pretty sure they’re clear but I’m going to give them a few more days.
Set an additional 9, cracked one of these when I dropped the heavy Brinsea lid on it.
So, even though I told myself last time I was not going to do staggered hatches again, here I am doing them!![]()
I strongly recommend against staggered hatches, unless you have 2 incubators. The loss isn't worth it.Do you hand-turn?
