For my fermented feed I use a 4” PVC cut in half lengthwise and two cinder blocks to hold it up. A trough feeder.

Can I ask how you made it?I did FF only for a flock of 82.. for 2+ years.. because of all they hype..

Let me simplify it.. I used totes and graduated to large plastic trash cans mixed with a boat oar.. Again I did it for 2 years, so it grew and changed through out time..That's awesome but sounds way complicated. I just put feed in a tub and fill with water. 2 days later I start feeding. My biggest complication is I get feed from a mill.
It needs a higher level of water than feed, stirred daily, or it could mold instead of ferment.Wow that really rose! Does look like it can use a little bit more water, but I personally would rather have it slightly dry than too wet (as I don't strain out liquid).
