Thank you! The cake is out the oven, (the batter was lovely!!!) and the icing is cooling...I also added about 1/2 semi sweet chips to give it a bit more chocolate kick!

It is absolutely delicious!!! Really!!! What a great yellow cake...easy to make too! I did mine in a 9 x 13 pan and used ALL the frosting...probably would cut back a bit next time! Thankyou for the great contribution, I would love to use your recipe with my kids in school!!!

I will let you know in a few hours when hubby gets home... it's in the oven now, and starting to smell wonderful. I love how light the batter whips up.

I didn't have 3 9" pans, so I did it in the 9x13" pan, set it to 20 minutes, and I'll just keep an eye (or nose) on it...
